Kartoffelsalat Blitz

The “Kartoffelsalat Blitz” is an extension of the range of Betty Bossi to further process cooked unpeeled potatoes quickly and easily.

The potato is very brittle due to its growth, which disintegrates if too much pressure is applied. Therefore, in addition to peeling and cutting, a solution had to be found for holding the tuber together.

The result is a two-part device. The transparent component protects the user from burns and collects the cut potato. The integrated wire mesh pulls off the peel and cuts the food into 10 mm thick slices. The base with the rockers stabilizes the tuber and serves as a scraper for the peel.
