OOZE humidifier

The tandem project is based on a “technology push”. Using the Biwood (wood actuator) as a starting point, a wide variety of possible applications were sought. The result is the OOZE product for improving the indoor climate. The central ceramic column is filled with water, and the porous material absorbs the water and allows it to evaporate. The lumbers react to the changing humidity and bend accordingly. When OOZE is empty and the air in the room is too dry, the wood rest against the container again. With OOZE, old-fashioned materials have been brought into a new context of application, creating a powerless interaction between product, room and user.
